The projectiles were 0.222 calibre bullets fired with a muzzle velocity of 1000 m/s.
All photos except for the foil strip were taken on Fujicolor 400 film with a Nikon FM2. The foil strip photo was taken with a Nikon D1 digital camera.
The flash unit was a PalFlash 500 loaned by Professor Andrew Davidhazy of the Rochester Institute of Technology.
The speed of the projectile was measured with a FlashCam loaned by the Cooke Corporation.
